Music Lessons Granted to Kelly!

January 2016 – We are so pleased and proud to announce a grant awarded to 5 year old Kelly, who was born blind. Kelly’s father applied for a grant for Kelly to take music lessons from Academy of Music for the Blind (AMB). Kelly had taken a few lessons from AMB but the family was unable to continue funding it. AREF has granted her with 4 months of weekly music lessons at AMB. AMB is a non profit school of music founded by Director, David Pinto, to provide comprehensive music education for musically-talented blind children.
